Matt has been involved in football for over 35 years, playing, managing and watching his son's games. He took over Canewdon Rangers as Manager in 2022, guiding them to their best season and then formally took full control of the club at the end of that season. 

Now, with two teams, he is excited to see the development of the squads and the growth of the club.

Lewis Suggate - First Team Manager

Lewis has played football his whole life, at school and at his sixth form academy. He started out his football career as a keeper and then became a Centre Back. After a few repeat injuries, Lewis has hung up his boots in favour of management and takes over the First team for this season!

Tommy Miller - First Team Assistant Manager

Tommy has been involved in football throughout his life with coaching, scouting, analysis and University.

Early on Tommy was a coach for local teams youth setups at Southend manor. Since then Tommy attended UCFB university studying football business & Media. Since then he has gone on to work for football clubs in the football league such as Southend United, Concord Rangers, Gillingham Fc and other football agency’s.

Charlie Botten - Reserve Team Manager

Charlie has played football all his life and reached a great playing standard. He was a player for Canewdon Rangers First team last season and now stepping up to manage the newly formed Reserve team.

Spencer - Reserve Team Assistant Manager 

Spencer has played football all his life and has recently decided to take on the challenge of managing his own team. He very much looks forward to facing the challenges that will come his way for their very first season.
